Culture Change

Hello! We are grateful to partner with you on this journey toward a more inclusive, thriving workplace.

We hope this guide helps you build a stronger organization and community for everyone.

A commitment to culture change equips your workplace with the skills, tools, and shared understanding needed to address systemic barriers and create genuine belonging. This can mean many things, among them:

  • Training to build shared language and understanding around inclusion, belonging, and how systemic barriers operate

  • Examining how your business can actively contribute to a more equitable and opportunity-rich community

  • Gaining practical tools to help your team shift organizational culture and advance lasting, meaningful change

This work requires an ongoing commitment. The roadmap below offers best practices drawn from the experience of organizations that have done this work well.

We built this content in partnership with practitioners who bring deep expertise and  experience to this field.

We listened to businesses and organizations across Portland. We thought carefully about how to be genuinely helpful and pragmatic. .

This guide is a living document that will grow and improve as we continue to learn. We offer it in the spirit of progress: sharing what we know, in hopes that it helps you create a workplace where every person truly belongs.
