Accountability in Racial Equity: Accountability in Action

Accountability in Racial Equity: A series to support businesses in how to measure action to advance racial equity.

About this Event

Are you holding yourself accountable to your racial justice commitment? What does it mean to ask questions, receive feedback, and act on that feedback? What if the feedback is negative? How will you handle it? What will you do next? How do you stay accountable and make changes when there is already so much on your plate?

If any of this sounds like questions you or your organizations have had recently, please join us for this impactful session on how to turn your commitment to racial justice to measurable, sustainable leadership and action. In this session participants will learn how to:

Become more comfortable with being uncomfortable and feel ready to take important and effective action.

Understand the stages of the racial justice journey—the different needs and actions to be taken—and where you are on that path.

Feel ready to continue this work with a community of people who share your experiences.

Be prepared for decisive action in supporting anti-racism work without inadvertently causing harm.

This training will be facilitated by Lindsey T.H. Jackson, LTHJ Global.

This session is one of a 4-part series hosted by Portland Means Progress that is free and open to the public.
