Working in a fully remote environment can take a toll on individuals who are accustomed to the social interaction provided from a workplace environment. This online session, facilitated by Michelle Helman of Michelle Helman Consulting, will provide support for employees and employers on how to care for themselves and each other.
In this session, we will cover the basics of mental health and wellness to apply self- and community-care practice at home-work to increase resilience as an act of resistance and change! Together, we will:
Define mental health, wellness, self-care and community-care
Understand the stress and trauma-response to adversity and crisis
Review basic practices to increase resilience as an act of resistance
The target audience for this session is all staff at businesses.
